Fits Johnson/Evinrude V4 lower units, 1978–1998.

Replaces most early-style Johnson/Evinrude V-4 lower units from 1978–1998 with a 4-1/8 bullet diameter.
Includes internal water screens and a pointed cavitation plate at the rear.
Does not include the upper driveshaft.
Paint is transitioning to black; color may vary by product.
If your old Johnson/Evinrude unit has a one-piece shaft, you will need to purchase an upper driveshaft.
Uses a newer-style stub shaft with a clip. If your Johnson/Evinrude upper shaft is not the newer style, it must be replaced.
Does not include a water pump or shift shaft. You may need to install your old components and adjust as needed.
