Trim Systems Replacement for Yamaha 1998-up 115-225. Replaces OE# 63P-43800-03-00, 64E-43800-02-40, and 68V-43800-03-40. Trim Systems adjust the motor angle and the boat running surface, helping determine ride smoothness and ability to jump on plane. When running through thick grass, trimming the engine level (about halfway up) helps avoid pulling weeds into the water intake and overheating. In rough seas, trimming the engine all the way down helps keep the bow close to the water for a smoother ride. When Trim Systems do not work, normal boat operation is affected.
