Replacement MerCruiser Sterndrive Alpha One Generation 1 counter-rotation, ratio 1.47. Replacement for Alpha One Generation 1 complete (R/MR/Alpha One I/O 1972–1990). Replaces 228 HP and up from 1974–1990, 225-S (1974), 233 (1975–1977), 250 (1977), 260 (1978–1982), 898/228 (1977–1982), and R/MR/Alpha One (1983–1990). Replaces engines from 1983–1990 including 5.7L and 5.0L (4-barrel carb), and 350 and 305 (4-barrel carb). Replaces engine horsepower 260 HP, 230 HP, and 228 HP. Includes 9-9/16 new style input yoke. Installation kit and anode kit not included. Counter-rotation only; do not use for standard rotation. No warranty over 300 HP. Shipped in two boxes via FedEx; tracking provided by email.
