Power Trim Motor and Pump System (2-wire, 3-ram) for Mercury/Mariner. Replaces Mercury 3-Ram 2-wire systems (1996-up). OE numbers: 855998A05, 855998A07, 855998A08, 855998A11. Design II Aft Fill. Trim systems adjust motor angle and running surface for ride smoothness, ability to plane, and other operation. Trimming helps avoid pulling weeds into the water intake and can reduce overheating when running through thick grass. Trimming down in rough seas helps keep the bow close to the water for a smoother ride.
