Johnson/Evinrude Outboard Lower Unit V6, 1.83 Ratio (Newer Than 1978)
Our replacement outboard lower units are new. We do not sell remanufactured items.
Warranty: 3 years.
Water intakes: Uses the Ocean Pro style water intakes. Does not include the upper driveshaft.
Important fitment notes:
– If your old unit has a one-piece shaft, you will need to purchase an upper driveshaft.
– We use the newer style stubshaft with a clip. If your upper shaft is not the newer style, you will need to replace it.
– You will need to use a 1991 or newer prop thrust washer.
– The lower unit does not include the water pump and shift shaft. You may need to install your old components and adjust them.
– If necessary, purchase the water pump kit separately.
