Hydraulic hatch lifter, self-contained, with an 18 in stroke (HL18HD). The unit consists of a hydraulic pump mounted on a cylinder and is totally self-contained.
Cylinder tube: aircraft quality 6063T832 hard coat anodized aluminum. Rod: 5/8 in stainless steel with an aluminum clevis.
Cylinder length: 26 in on centers, retracted with an 18 in stroke. Extended length: 44 in.
Power: 12 volt DC motor, SAE J1171 marine, 2-wire permanent magnet type.
Maximum hatch weight: 500 pounds.
For larger boats with heavier hatches up to 1000 pounds, use 2 cylinders and 1 heavy duty hydraulic pump. Call the factory for help designing a hatch lift system for weights exceeding 500 pounds.
