Replaces most early style Johnson/Evinrude V-4 Lower Units from 1978-1998 with a 4-1/8 bullet diameter. 

Has internal Water Screens and a pointed cavitation plate at the rear.

Does not include Upper driveshaft. If your old JOHNSON / EVINRUDE unit has a one piece shaft you will need to purchase an upper driveshaft.

We use the newer style stubshaft with a clip. If your JOHNSON / EVINRUDE  upper shaft is not the newer style you will need to replace it.

Our JOHNSON / EVINRUDE unit does not include a Water Pump and shift shaft.
